Agricultural and Life Sciences Building

s_ssalsc.gifOregon State University facilities, especially research facilities, have steadily improved through this century. In that time, the Department of Horticulture has been located in four buildings on the campus, starting with a small, wooden structure shared with the Department of Photography. The latest change was in 1992, when the Department of Horticulture moved into the newly completed Agricultural and Life Sciences Building. The department now occupies the fourth floor and a portion of the basement.

Other departments housed in the Agricultural and Life Sciences Building include the Soil Science division of the Department of Crop and Soil Science, the Center for Gene Research, the Toxicology Program, the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, and the Molecular and Cellular Biology Program.
