Notes:
The spring season is cold, but not as cold as last year. The wide variation in bloom this year is partly due to temperature variation. Another possible cause of vaiation is that dark-colored buds are warmed more by periods of direct sun than those lighter colors. On cloudy, overcast days all buds will be the same temperature.
