Academic Program (0.7 FTE)
Responsible for all turf and landscape maintenance classes leading to a B.S. in turf and landscape option. Direct the undergraduate internship program. Provide assistance in career
track employment for students in turf and landscape option. Developed and maintain a five acre practical field lab that supports in class teaching activities in all turf, landscape, Irrigation, and
drainage classes.

Hort 112 - Introduction to Turf and Landscape Industry, 2 credits, each fall term
Hort 314 - Principles of Turfgrass Maintenance, 4 credits, each fall term
Hort 315 - Landscape Maintenance, 4 credits, each winter term (last taught 2006)

Applied research in turfgrass fertility, cultural practices, and pest management. Emphasis on regional issues and focuses primarily on golf course turf problems and general lawn care.
